March Madness 2010 refers to the 72nd annual, single-elimination NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament that will feature the top 65 teams from the 2009-2010 season, playing at various sites across the nation.

Teams will be chosen on Selection Sunday where they'll be entered into the regional brackets. Games will be played in various venues for the four rounds until there are only four regional winners left, the "Final Four". The finals and the Championship game will be held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Each team will be placed in a regional bracket and given a seed number which is determined by how they have played throughout the season. The match-ups will be determined by their seed, where the 1 seed will play the 16 seed, the 2 seed will play the 15 seed, and so forth. Teams will play through their bracket advancing one tier at a time, moving through to the second round, the Sweet Sixteen, the Elite Eight, the Final Four, and eventually into the Championship game.
