NCAA basketball
NCAA games must go at least 35 minutes to have action, unless otherwise specified.
For wagering purposes, winners and losers are determined by the final score (including overtime), provided that the game has gone the minimum time as specified above.
If a game is suspended after the minimum time has been played and not resumed the same day, then regardless of whether the game is completed at a later date, the score when the game is halted will determine the betting results.
If play is suspended before the minimum time has been reached and not resumed the same day, all bets will be scored as ‘no action’ and all money refunded.
All wagers on the game and all wagers on the second half will include overtime scoring.
Halves
For wagers on halves the minimum time is considered to be the duration of the half.
If the entire game is not completed, wagers on halves will have action if the relevant half was completed.
The second half includes overtime.
WNBA

If the entire game is not completed, wagers on halves and quarters will have action if the relevant period was completed.
The second half includes over time
Official Game Time
Winners and Losers are official after 5 innings of play unless the home team is leading after 4½ innings. If a game is called or suspended, the score after the last full inning determines the winner. If the home team scores to tie – or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning and the inning is not completed, the score at the time the game is called determines the winner. Monies will be refunded if the home team ties the game and it is then suspended. Events will not carry over to the following day (unless otherwise specified). BetDSI does not recognize suspended games, protests, overturned decisions, etc. for betting purposes. When betting on the total runs (over/under) the game must go 9 innings (8½ if the home team is ahead) to have action. Wagers on total runs and runlines will be refunded if a pitcher change occurs prior to both listed pitchers throwing at least one pitch. Rules for the run line wagers are the same as those for baseball totals. Game must be played on scheduled date and site. **During the MLB Playoffs, games all wagers will have action until the game is played to completion, regardless of their duration or the day on which they end.** Double Headers: Double header games are denoted as Game1 or Game2. Members may list pitchers in a double header; however, wagers are taken on games, not pitchers. If a scheduled pitcher does not go in his scheduled game of a double header but in the other game, wagers are graded based on the Game, not on the pitcher. *LAS VEGAS RULES APPLY FOR ANY RULES NOT MENTIONED HERE. Baseball Grand Salami:- The Baseball Grand Salami will be decided by the total runs scored in all major-league games scheduled for that day.
- All scheduled games must go 9 innings (8.5 if the home team is winning). If any scheduled game is canceled or stopped before the completion of 8.5 innings, all wagers on the Baseball Grand Salami will be canceled.
- No pitchers will be listed for the Grand Salami; all wagers will have action regardless of the starting pitchers
- All spread, money line, and total wagers will have action in games stopped early due to the mercy rule.
- All bets taken on a suspended game (one that started), will have action for 72 hours from the start time, as long as the WBC governing body recognizes an eventual winner. Money line wagers will only have action as long as the game goes at least 4.5 innings. Spread and total wagers will only have action if the game goes at least 8.5 innings (except in mercy rule games, see rule above).
- All bets taken on a postponed game will not have action. Once the postponed game is re-scheduled, normal wagering rules apply.
- Pool Wagering – In the event of a tie between 2 or 3 teams within a pool, whoever wins the tiebreaker according the world baseball classic (whichever team is considered the number 1 team from that pool in the next round) is considered the winner
Pitcher Selection
Baseball wagers will be accepted in the following manner: Action- Team against team, regardless of the starting pitcher. “Action” bets will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
- Due to scheduling changes, an overnight game may become part of a doubleheader. When this occurs, all overnight bets are action if originally listed pitchers square off in either game.
- If there is a pitching change prior to the game, money odds may be adjusted. If one scheduled pitcher starts against any unscheduled pitcher, “action” wagers will be computed by the opening price with the new pitcher. A pitcher is deemed a starting pitcher after throwing one pitch.
Baseball Betting | Money Line
Betting on baseball is done by risking more money than the win amount on favorites (Mets) or risking less to win more on dogs or underdogs (teams not favored to win). Example:- Mets – 140
- Reds + 120
Baseball Betting | Totals Over/Under
There is a standard 20 cent line. Example:- Mets 7 over -120
- 7 under Even Money
Baseball Betting | Run Line Betting
A baseball Run Line bet is a combination of the point spread and the money line. The team wagered on must win by the point spread while the amount wagered is determined by the money line odds. Example:- Braves -1 1/2 +130
- Pirates +1 1/2 -150
Baseball Betting | Parlays
Remeber, when placing a parlay on baseball, you can not combine run lines and totals of the same team on the same parlay, as they are considered correlated wagers. The following chart can be used to calculate the payoff on baseball betting parlays. You can select from 2 to 15 teams. Use the factor corresponding to the line if you are betting on the favorite; if betting on the underdog add 1 to the line. Maximum parlay payout is $150,000 Example:- Taking the Pirates +220 and the Braves -135 in a 2 team parlay for $100 100(wager) x 3.2 x 1.74 – 100(wager)= $457
- 3 team parlay taking the Red Sox +148, Mets EVEN and Texas -119 for $100 100(wager) x 2.48 x 2.00 x 1.840 – 100(wager)= $813

Player Props
Player vs Player – most total bases Wager is a matchup of which player will have the most total bases in game. Scoring for total base wagering: Single=1 point, Double=2 points, Triple=3 points, HR=4 points, (Walks & Stolen Bases do not count). Game must go 8½ innings if home team is winning or 9 innings if road team is winning for action. Extra Innings count. Both Players+ listed Starting Pitchers must start for action.Regular Season wins
Each team must play at least 160 games for the wagers to have action. ONLY regular season games included, playoffs DO NOT COUNT towards this wager.DOUBLE HEADERS
In 2020 the MLB has approved 7-inning doubleheaders to be played. With these, games are official after 7 innings of play (6½ innings if the home team is ahead). This includes moneyline, total runs (over/under) and Run Line bets.Money line wagering on soccer offers a draw line as well as sides. In the event of a draw example: (1-1), all bets on either of the sides will be graded as losers. Again, in the event of a draw, only wagers placed on the draw line will be graded as a win. This rule does not apply to bet placed on the spread.
The result of the game is decided after 90 minutes of play plus injury time. Extra time / overtime / golden goal is not taken into consideration for soccer bets unless otherwise stipulated.
If any match is abandoned or postponed all bets will be void unless the relevant market result has already happened. For example, “first goal scorer” betting will stand if a goal has already been scored.
Where a venue is changed, bets will stand unless the game is to be player at the original away team’s ground in which case all bets will be void.

- Greater number of points in all group matches

- Greatest number of goals scored in matches between tied teams
Asian Handicap
“Handicap” (same as “spread” in the American sports) means a fictive head start given to one of the teams (by default the underdog) – virtually leading the game by 0.25 goal, 0.5 goal, 0.75 goal , 1 goal, 1.5 goal, etc. The punter must either back the favorite to beat this handicap or the underdog to hold it. The default handicap could be also 0 goals (level ball) when both teams are estimated as more or less equal. It looks abstract at first glance but not hard to comprehend.
The Asian Handicap bet is settled by adding the handicap to the actual result of the game.
For example if Wigan have received 0.5 goal advantage against Blackburn (Wigan +0.5) and the game ends with a draw, the bet on Wigan wins by half a goal. Bets on Blackburn are winning if Rovers just win no matter with what result, that simple. When we have -1.5 handicap the favorite must win the game at least by 2 goals margin, otherwise the underdog (+1.5) is winning by half or more goals. For 0, 1 and 2 goals handicap the bet result could be a virtual draw and in this case all stakes are refunded. For example if Man United are set one goal down to Middlesbrough and they win exactly by 1 goal, the Asian Handicap result is draw and all bets are settled as void.
In fact many Asian Handicap lines cover exactly the same thing as other betting options – no need to mention what -0.5 means, the 0 goals handicap is equal to “Draw No Bet”, +0.5 is same as backing the underdog at “Double Chance”, -1.5 is same as Euro Handicap (0:1). Odds are usually higher though as we underlined one of the main advantages of AH betting.
Before going further it is very important to note that in live (in-play) betting Asian Handicap bets usually apply only to the remaining time of the game and NOT to the whole 90 minutes. Anyway be sure to check the BetDSI’s rules first.
SPLIT HANDICAPS (Quarter Ball)
We got the base of Asian Handicap betting which is certainly not hard to be figured out. The only challenge in AH comes with the so-called “split” handicaps because lines like -0.25 or +1.75 look weird and confusing. Lacking a clear standard to display split handicaps doesn`t help, various bookies and sites use different formats to show one and the same thing so you can see 0.75 as “3/4” or “0.5, 1” ; 1.25 as “1 1/4” or “1, 1.5” etc. Not a problem though once we get the idea.
Now this is the key – note that 0.25 is average value between 0 and 0.5, 0.75 is average between 0.5 and 1, 1.25 is average between 1 and 1.5. Most bookies give a hint in the way they display handicaps like 0, 0.5 or 0.5, 1. In these cases the bet is virtually split in two separate handicap bets. For example, if you bet 10 EUR on -0.75 (-0.5, -1) goal handicap in fact you bet 5 EUR on -0.5 and 5 EUR on -1 goal handicap. If your team wins by 2-1, half of your bet (5 EUR) is winning with the given odds (that going for the -0.5 handicap) and the other half of your stake will be refunded.
One more example – lets say we bet 50 EUR on Torino +0.25 (0, +0.5) against Parma, odds 1.80. If Torino wins, it is clear that we will take 90 EUR. If the game ends with a draw, half of our stake is winning (25 EUR x 1.80 = 45 EUR) and the remaining 25 EUR are refunded, overall we get back 70 EUR. On the opposite, if we bet on Parma -0.25 (0, -0.5) and the game result is draw, half of our bet (-0.5) will be lost and the other half (25 EUR) will be refunded.
GOAL LINES (Totals)
Asian goal lines (betting on the total number of goals scored in a game) are quite alike the classic under / over bets but here you can find more different lines as 1.75 goals, 2.25 goals etc. which work with the same idea as the split handicaps. Just something that must be mentioned, in live betting unlike Asian Handicap goal lines apply to the whole 90 minutes.

Line Types
We offer 3 different types of lines for Hockey; The Canadian Line, 3 Way Option, and Straight Money Lines.
Hockey Betting | Canadian Line
The Canadian line is a combination of a goal and money line. The money line is a 20 cent line for straight bets.
Example:
- Boston Bruins +1 1/2 -140
- L.A. Kings -1 1/2 +120
If betting on the Kings the customer would give-up a goal and a half and would risk $100 to win $120, the Kings must win by at least two goals. If betting on the Bruins the customer would get a goal and half but would risk $140 to win $100.
Hockey Betting | Money Line
All money line options are prices to win the game outright, according to NHL rules.
Example:
- Boston Bruins +110
- L.A. Kings -130
If you select the Bruins to win the game, betting $100 would win you $110. If you select the Kings to win, you would need to risk $130 to win $100.
Hockey Betting | Totals Over/Under
Example:
- Bruins +1 1/2 -140 5 OVER -130
- Kings -1 1/2 +120
As well as having favorites on sides you also have favorites on totals, in this example over the total of five goals is indicated as the favorite in which case the customer would lay $130 to win $100. If betting on the game to go under five goals the customer goes with the underdog so he/she receives a larger return in this case risking $100 to win $110. If there is no money line indicated the total has a “FLAT” line or -110 whether betting over or under, in which case the customer would lay $110 to win $100 either way. When you wager on total goals, if the score falls on the number in this case five, it will be “no action”.
Hockey Parlays Betting
With hockey parlays you can combine anywhere from 2 to 15 teams into a single wager resulting in higher betting payouts as in baseball parlays. Note: Hockey parlays are calculated as they are in baseball. Maximum parlay payout is $ 150,000.

In 72 Hole Group Betting in the event of a tie dead heat rules apply.
In 72 Hole Group betting in the event of a listed player being withdrawn prior to the first round then all wagers are void.
Group Betting Rule:
In the event of a tie, the winner will be the player with the lowest score for the final round
Top 5 Finishing Positions
The top 5 finishers is based on the results of the leaderboard. wether they are listed or not. All players are action, unless a player does not tee off to start the tournament. If none of the players listed make the top 5, all players are losers.
If the golfer does not tee off to start the tournament, the wager on that golfer will be “No Action” or “Push/Cancel” and all money will be refunded.
In the event of a tie, the group betting rule will apply.
In case of a tie in the 5th place, the tie breaker will be the score of the 4th round; the player with the lower hits will be the winner.
Group Betting Rule:
In the event of a tie, the winner will be the player with the lowest score for the final round. If a tie still exists the European Dead Heat rule will apply.
European Dead Heat Rule:
The winner will be the player with the lowest score at the end of the tournament (or after the cut if all players miss the cut), playoff included.
In case of a tie for the low score in matches, European dead heat rules will apply:
Example:
If two golfers tie for the best score, a bet on either of these golfers will be settled and paid as follows: Half the bet (lay amount) is paid off at the quoted price, and half the bet loses. A bet on the golfer who finishes last is a losing bet.
If all three golfers tie for the best score, a bet on any of these golfers will be settled and paid as follows: One-third of the bet (lay amount) is paid off at the quoted price, and two-thirds of the bet loses.
Regions Top Finishers
Regions top finishers is based on whoever is positioned higher in the leader board. It applies the same rule as European Dead heat (in case of a tie). Out of this list of players the winner will be determined by his position. From the list of players, provided, the winner will be the one positioned higher on the leader board.
If a player does not tee off all bets on that player will be void and monies refunded.

If all three golfers tie for the best score, a bet on any of these golfers will be settled and paid as follows: One-third of the bet (lay amount) is paid off at the quoted price, and two-thirds of the bet loses.
Odds to Win Rules
The “Field” includes all players not offered by name.
All outright bets are settled on the player winning the trophy. The result of play-offs is taken into account.
If a tournament does not go the specified number of completed holes (usually 72) and is shortened by the tournament officials, the leader at the end of the number of holes specified by the officials will be the winner, unless there is no further play or only part of a round completed after a bet has been placed, in which case that bet will be canceled.
In the event that two or more golfers are tied for the lead at the end of regulation play, a sudden death playoff is normally used to determine the winner of the tournament. In this case, the winner of the playoff is the winner for betting purposes. All other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers.
In the event of a tie for a finishing position, the tied position will count; for example, if five players tie for eighth place, all five will be considered to have finished eighth.
In some tournaments, tournament officials may have the individuals play a specified number of playoff holes to determine the tournament winner. In this case, the golfer with the lowest score after completing the specified number of holes will be declared the winner, and all other golfers in the playoff will be graded as second-place finishers
In 2 Ball betting a price will be offered for a tie. In 3 Ball betting if players have an identical score in the round, the result will be a tie and dead heat rules will apply. Bets stand once the players have teed off on their first hole. If a player does not tee off, then bets on the 2 or 3 Ball they were due to take part in are void. If a round is abandoned, bets on that round are void.
Results will be graded based on the official result at ringside.
If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds the bout will last will be graded as ‘No Action’.
Each round is three minutes in duration; a half-round is defined as ninety seconds.
For wagering purposes, the disqualification of a boxer during a match will be counted as a knockout by his opponent.
If the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on both fighters will be lost. If the wagering offer includes only the two boxers, with the draw either not offered or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, wagers on either fighter will be refunded.
In situations not covered by the previous rules, the wagering decision announced by the Don Best Sports information service will be considered official and binding.
Total
An Over/Under (total) listed on a fight represents the total number of completed rounds. The halfway point of a round is at exactly one minute and thirty seconds into a three minute round. Thus, 9½ rounds would be one minute and thirty seconds of the 10th round. The halfway point of a two minute round is at the one minute mark. The halfway point of a five minute round is at the two minutes and thirty seconds mark.
Unless otherwise noted, fights must take place within one week of the listed date of the fight or the bout will be graded “no action” and wagers refunded.
Results will be graded based on the official result at ringside.
When a “draw” occurs, wagers on both fighters “to win” are refunded.
A total listed on a fight represents the total number of completed rounds. The halfway point of a round is at exactly two minutes and thirty seconds into a five minute round. Thus, 2½ rounds would be two minutes and thirty seconds of the 3rd round.
General Motor Racing Rules – Applies to all series:
Results will be graded at the end of the race as posted on the official site for that series e.g. Nascar.com, f1.com, indyracingleague.com etc. If there was an error on the site in the posting of the results, then the results will be re-graded. If changes are subsequently made due to appeals or decisions of the governing body unrelated to the original finishing order (i.e. penalties for rules infractions, dangerous driving, etc.) the original results will still be deemed as the official results for grading purposes. Appeals and administrative penalties are not applicable for betting purposes.
A driver must start for action. If the driver withdraws prior to the start of the race then bets on said driver will be refunded. If he withdraws after the start or is replaced by another driver all bets on that driver will stand. In the case of a replacement driver the original driver will be deemed as the driver of that car for the entire race.
If a race or qualifier is postponed for any reason, all wagers will remain valid for 4 Days (96 Hours). If the postponement lasts more than 4 Days, all wagers will be canceled and the monies refunded.
Matchup Rules
Match-Up betting: Applies to all series.
When wagering on a match-up, both drivers involved must start the race otherwise the wager is “No Action” or “Push/Cancel” and money is refunded. The start of the race is signified by the lap where the cars have completed the warm up laps and the race begins to countdown. In NO instance will warm up laps be counted for betting purposes. In a case where the starting driver is replaced during the race with another driver from the same team, the position the new driver finishes in will be awarded to the original driver. This holds for wagering on win odds and/or match-ups.
In head to head betting if 2 drivers retire from the race on the first lap then all bets on those drivers will be graded as a push/cancel. Subsequent to the first lap, the final results posted on the official body’s website will be used for grading purposes.
Qualifying Matchups – all series:
Qualifying match-ups are graded based on qualifying times (not the starting line-up).
Qualifying match-ups are deemed action as soon as the driver starts the qualifying lap and the timer begins.
If a driver has started the qualifying lap, but does not post a time because of mechanical failure, accident, etc. the wager will still be graded as action.
If the driver fails to start the qualification for any reason (i.e. does not begin the timed qualifying session), then the wager will be graded as no action, and money refunded.
If a driver starts a qualifying session, but fails to post a time, then the driver will be deemed to have no time, which is the slowest time possible. If two drivers are matched up against each other, and neither posts a time, the matchup will be graded as a push/cancel.
In the case where two drivers post the exact same time to the thousandth of a second, then the matchup will be graded as a push/cancel. The starting position where the governing body places them in this instance is not relevant for betting purposes.
For NASCAR only, qualifying matchups are closed at the start of first practice unless a disclaimer is made on the site otherwise. This may occur when practice is the day before qualifying. If a disclaimer is not made, any qualifying bets made after the first practice session has begun will be graded as no action, and the bets will be refunded.
